Cycling Made Easy specialises in selling and servicing high quality pedal assist electric bikes. The market is developing fast for e bikes which are predicted to develop and occupy 65% of all bike sales in the UK and Europe within the next two years.
Our company has experienced rapid growth and we need an experienced accounts person to provide us with accurate and informative analysis and industry standard accounting controls.
We operate with a powerful EPOS sales and CRM system interlinked across our two branches. This system produces stock reports, sales analysis, P&L, Aged Creditors, Cashflow (actual and forecast), VAT, margin analysis and sufficient information for annual end of year accounts. In addition we operate a SageOne PAYE system which is run to manage salary and Tax payments, once a month.
A part time accounts and administration assistant currently processes and verifies supplier invoices and facilitates payment when appropriate. This role will continue. A close working relationship between these two important positions would be essential and allows for holiday cover.
We expect that this part time role will take an experienced person up to two days a month, working on site at our Coulsdon showroom. We would be amenable for the right person to operate on flexi-time during working hours.
The right person will be expected to be proactive in the analysis of accounts data, and bring any extraordinary issues to the attention of management. Remuneration for this position will depend on experience and discussion.
