I had a new replacement controller, an Intuvia, for my wife’s ebike fitted at Cycling Made Easy.
The mechanic/engineer, Rob, was extremely helpful and accommodating, as were all the staff members. Rob also gave the bike a thorough going over; tightening any loose screws, oiling the gearing and fixing some other bits of the bike as well. He was impeccable in his professionalism, including speedily arranging the acquiring of a replacement controller and ringing me back as arranged.
After the work he patiently ran through the operation of the controls a couple of times which I really appreciated as being an old geezer my working memory isn’t what it once was.
The bottom line is that I thoroughly recommend this shop and I have no doubt that I’ll be buying my first ebike from Cycling Made Easy.

I bought my bike way back in December and have been meaning to leave a review for ages. If you’re thinking about getting an electric bike then this shop is a great place to start. They were extremely important helping me make my decision and most importantly I was able to test ride them. I’ve been back to get my free service and I’m about to book my first proper service because the bike has now done 1500 miles! Also the shop is an hours drive from me but I think they’re worth the M25 hassle.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the lovely gentleman that looked at my bike on Saturday 5th August. Everything now works perfectly since he removed and re-seated the battery – very much appreciated.

Thanks Pauline. The gentleman was Rob, and he sends his regards!

    From Cynic to Evangelist.
20 months on from buying my first electric bike the time has come to reflect.
Was it worth the investment? Has it been fun? Would I do it again? Any regrets?
    Simply yes, yes, yes, no.
After testing various makes and models I settled on Mustache Samedi 27/9 mountain bike as I wanted to ride mainly off road and perhaps, just perhaps, actually make the leap from driving to work to cycling.
What a revelation! The joy that had been squeezed out of me by riding on the road came flooding back as hills, bridleways, Downs and commons were opened up. The motor gave assistance when wanted without compromising on the need to pedal.
But perhaps the best aspect of my discovery was that my wife, who in 33 years of marriage had not so much as glanced at a bike of any description, has now bought a Scott MTB and the two of us are now regularly to be seen cresting Epsom Downs on the way to Walton Heath, Reigate and beyond.
Thanks to Ray and all at Cycling Made Easy for bringing cycling with a smile back with a bang.
And yes, I do now regularly cycle to work.
